Employment Counsellors

Employment Counsellors, or Case Managers, offer one-on-one employment consultation and if suitable, referrals to various programs and services including:

  • Job search, resumes, interviewing, networking, hidden job market, electronic job search etc.
  • Career planning: explore and identify work/career options suited to you.
  • Trades: explore the various trades opportunities and find out about training and apprenticeships. Get connected to a network of employers.
  • Work Experience / Wage Subsidy.
  • Self Employment
  • Youth skills link / work experience; earn money while you learn!

Employment Counsellors/Case Managers also work with individuals interested in sponsorship funding for further education/training.

There are programs available specifically designed for youth, mature workers, professionals, immigrants and people with disabilities. Employment Counsellors/Case Managers will help you choose the right program and follow up with you to ensure you are getting the service you need in order to meet your goals.
